Amazing Visual Outsourcer needs Technical Animators to work on Feature Film!
My client is a specialist visual outsourcer to mainstream game developers as well the broadcast and feature film industry. As a result of a major film contract they are now looking to hire several freelance Techncial Animators to work on-site in their Munich studio. Contracts will last between 4-5 months.
Responsibilities:
*Assess, design and implement pipeline and workflow solutions for the production team.
*Work with tech team to influence overall technologies and methodologies.
*Research tools and techniques to optimize current workflows and raise the quality bar of the studio in terms of efficiency and productivity.
*Organise and facilitate the documentation of studio art tools and methodologies.
Requirements:
*Must be a good and positive communicator(English/German) and team player.
*1 or more projects completed in game/film development as a Technical Animator or similar position.
*Strong knowledge of at least one of the leading 3D applications, e.g. Maya(preferably) or 3DSMax.
*Good knowledge of Motionbuilder.
*In depth experience and skills relating to character rigging(body and face) and dynamics(secondary animations).
*Solid understanding of character animation.
*Scripting writing skills with the leading 3D applications e.g. Maya(mel, Python), 3DSMax(Max Script), Motionbuilder(Python).
*A portfolio or demoreel that demonstrates technical experiences regarding character animation.
Additional:
*Coding skills e.g. Pyhton, C++
*Game engine experience(Unreal-Engine, *Cry-Engine, Trinigy, Unity, etc...)
*Blade experience, e.g. mocap data clean-up/solving, scripting(HSL)
