Job Title: Lead, Business Analytics

Analytics are a key component of EA Mobile’s future. The analytics team needs to manage and transform massive amounts of data into an actionable, easy to understand form and enforce a data driven culture. The field of analytics is growing rapidly as part of the future of gaming and the entire business world. With mobile analytics you will be part of an even more specialized and dynamic subset of analytics.

Role Overview

The Lead is responsible for maintaining the reporting suite (dashboard, automated reports, etc) that the organization obtains data from. They will maintain these products and tools and work with technical cross functional teams to fix and upgrade these tools. The Lead will audit the tools to ensure data is being processed properly (avoid “Garbage in, Garbage out”). They will need to constantly optimize user experience of the tools as this is key to consuming and using more data to improve the business. The Analytics Strategy Lead will analyze feedback from the organization and improve the reporting suite, metrics, KPIs, and reports.

The Lead will need to monitor the usage of the reporting suite and essentially be the product manager of a heavily used and scrutinized set of tools. They will work with demanding customers and keep pace with a very fast moving mobile industry. They will manage the research requests for the product, engineering and infrastructure groups and make sure work is assigned to analysts accordingly and completed in a timely fashion. They will also need to perform research projects and analyses as well and get a deep understanding of the data they will be building tools for.

The Analytics Lead will also help teams get integrated with their reporting and data tools and help them utilize their data as needed.
