Animation & Cinematic Director required for AAA French Game Developer!
My client is an established Game Development Studio in France specializing in Console and PC games due to new high profile projects they now need a Animation & Cinematic Director to ensure the best standards in gaming are applied to their games.
Responsibilities:
•Contributes to the artistic vision of the game
•Is responsible for the quality and content of the animations, and must ensure that they are visually credible and in line with the game’s vision
•Works closely with the leads of animation, design, art and programming in order to develop the best game
•Actively contributes to defining the project's artistic direction from animation point of view and makes sure it is applied
•Interacts with people from other fields to implement animation systems
•Communicates the animation quality level expected and collaborates with the Lead Animator validate the animations produced by the team
Professional Qualifications and Experience:
•Excellent knowledge of animation with 3DS Max (Character Studio) and MotionBuilder strongly preferred
•Experience of at least two shipped titles.
•Experience working on at least one AAA Title
•Excellent technical and artistic animation skills
•Autonomous, creative, and inspired by complex animations
•Good knowledge of various platform requirements
•Is in a permanent technological and competing survey
•Very good English skills
Personal Qualities:
•Excellent self-management
•Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities
•Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
•Articulate
