Art Director Needed For Current Gen Cross-Platform Projects, Shanghai
This company can look back on an impressive track record of working with some of the leading publishers and developers on co-development projects, as well as full life-cycle development of their own in-house titles.
Their teams are international, English is the studio's main language and their senior management team hails from all corners of the world.
Due to their continued success and growth, the Shanghai studio are now looking to hire an experienced Art Director to be in charge of their current gen projects.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for:
• Establishing and maintaining all aspects of the artistic aesthetic of their AAA titles.
• Inspiring the art team with an outstanding standard of work and ensure that all elements of the game are compelling and artistically outstanding.
• Collaborate with the creative leadership team to establish and maintain to complete game experience
• Collaborate with the Lead Artist and to lead the creation of consistent, high-quality work
• Drive communication with other leads to ensure that the art team is meeting the project needs.
• Meet project deadlines and milestones.
• Mentor artists in best practices and processes
Requirements
• Previous experience in an Art Director position, with proven track record of managing large teams to success, as well as building/maintaining art production schedules
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
• In-depth knowledge of 2D and 3D art packages
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of game development process
Salary for this position is negotiable dependent on experience and company benefits include relocation assistance, pension plan, housing allowance, generous annual holiday.
