Relic Entertainment, award winning developers of Homeworld, Dawn of War and Company of Heroes, is looking for an Associate Producer for our highly anticipated third person shooter for Xbox 360 and PS3….Space Marine.
Recently named to Gamespots' most anticipated games of 2010, Space Marine is set in the ever popular Warhammer 40,000 universe. Gamers will take the role of a Space Marine hero fighting to defend the Imperium of Man against a host of enemies. Space Marine promises gamers the most intimate Warhammer 40,000 experience to date; the combat will be up close, brutal…..and glorious!

In this role, you will own the PC Sku and drive it to completion with the support of a world class team.
As a member of the production team, you’ll draw upon your unique experience to help us build a winning product and to help manage the requirements, processes and priorities of the development and service teams. You will work closely with the Design, Art, Engineering and Community teams to streamline the production process and ensure all milestones are achieved in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Deliver results in specific areas of the daily product cycle for the assigned product and assist the Producers on a daily basis
* Assist in the development of schedules that translate business goals into action
* Assist in supporting the required adherence of teams to project schedule and budgets
* Coordinate with resources, internal and external, to ensure successful completion of assigned project
* Act as a change agent for process improvements
* Communicate revisions, changes and information related to the project
* Assist in coordination of inter company resources to ensure project objectives are met
* Interact with team members (across all disciplines) as required by area/project specificity
* May interact with external/internal vendors
* Communicate daily with Producer to ensure accurate, up to date information is provided for area(s) of accountability
* Administrative duties, meeting notes, reports, etc.
* Assist and support Producer with PR and Marketing issues as required.
* Maintain the bug-list and is the liaison between the team as well as internal and external QA dept. including external beta testers.
* Monitor team progress and maintain the schedule to provide Producer with regular updates on status and risks as required.
* Carry out routine daily tasks and procedures of assigned project
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of Production experience in PC development
* 2+ years of developing systems as listed above
* Minimum 2 years Project Management experience
* Background in Design, Art, or Engineering a plus.
* College Degree or equivalent a plus
* Extensive understanding of the production cycle.
* Ability to identify process gaps or problems, collect information, establish facts, engage and influence appropriate resources and effectively implement changes.
* Proven strong negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills
* Effective communication skills (written & verbal) across all levels
* Proven investigative and analytical skills.
* Strong understanding of industry standards, analytical tools and business analysis practices.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Strong leadership and decision making skills.
