ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for components of a product marketing plan and product launch from EA Games. This includes day-to-day operational management including packaging, PR and marketing assets, retail marketing, digital marketing, community building and other integrated marketing.

• Assist in creation of marketing plan, including idea generation and timeline management;
• Work with product manager to manage all marketing assets – digital, packaging, events, PR, etc.
• Manage development and execution of marketing programs, including packaging, channel, PR, online and promotions;
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment between game elements and A+ marketing programs;
• Coordinate across EA divisions to maximize integrated marketing opportunities;
• Collaborate with 1st party (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo) teams to maximize co-marketing opportunities;
• Coordinate with Social and Online Community team to ensure web assets and programs align with marketing program and brand;
• Continually learn about the consumer to develop branding and strategic skills.


Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years relevant experience in marketing, preferably with a video game, entertainment or consumer product company;
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously;
• Excellent organizational skills to balance a wide range of initiatives;
• History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done;
• Strong creative skills, including ability to generate new ideas and “editorialize” potential ideas;
• Strong quantitative skills, particularly in the context of budget management;
• Ability to define projects for developers, and work closely with technical team;
• Solid verbal and written communications skills;
• Self-starter/entrepreneurial spirit;
• Clear consumer-focus;
• Bachelor Degree
• Passion for video games
