Audio Lead
at Remedy
Espoo, Finland
Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Max Payne® and Alan Wake®, and one of the leading independent game studios in the world, is currently looking for an Audio Lead to join the AAA console production team.
You are passionate and possess a strong vision about audio and music in games. You have deep knowledge of game audio techniques and can create as well as implement first-class audio assets. You are confident in directing your team members, and lead by example. As Audio Lead, you work closely with the creative leads, producers, programmers, level designers, and external vendors. In short, you are in charge of making Remedy’s games sound like magic.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in creating audio for games and one shipped AAA title in a Lead or Senior Audio Designer role
* Ability to manage and lead a large scale audio production
* Experience leading and hiring audio team members
* Excellent organizational skills and experience working closely with audio programmers
* Excellent knowledge of modern studio equipment and game audio standard tools (SoundForge, Vegas, etc.)
* Experience managing external vendors such as composers and audio asset providers
* Clear verbal and written communication in English
