Billing Customer Service Representative - GAMES
Our client, who is a leading independent online games studio, is looking for highly motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic person to join their Billing Customer Service team, helping them to deliver world-class customer support to their online communities.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
•Offering assistance, guidance and billing payment support to our customers, responding to player tickets, emails and other billing related queries
•Owning and investigating support and system issues, proposing solutions and solving problems first time, every time
•Gathering, interpreting and reporting on billing activity within our products
•Adapting to rapidly changing priorities, reacting to the changing needs of the business / customer
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
•Relevant online billing customer service experience
•Ambitious and passionate about customer service
•Ability to empathise and identify with customer issues
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Inquisitive and articulate, able to troubleshoot customer queries
•Flexible and able to adapt to business needs
•Independent, able to take responsibility for own planning/prioritisation
•Deep understanding of the Internet, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office-based products
•Good team-working skills
•Detail driven with a keen eye for analysing data
•Able to work a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts or night shifts
•Ability to identify trends in the entertainment industry in order to anticipate strategies relevant to their very popular on-line game.
•Knowledge of player behaviours, motivations and profiles.
•Knowledge of game development methods and practices, with an understanding of game design oriented to multiplayer environments.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate enthusiastically, clearly and concisely to groups and individuals.
•The ability to adapt, re-prioritise and immediately solve problems according to the needs of a fast-moving working environment.
•A proven passion for computer gaming and design.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
•Previous industry experience
•Passion for video games
•Verbal and written fluency in a second language (French, German, Portuguese or Nordic especially)
•Solid grasp of maths and English
