The “Kids and Lifestyle Entertainment (KALE)” team is looking for a rock star Sr. Strategy and Business Manager to help define and create the future of Kids entertainment on the Xbox. This role reports to the Director of Business Management and Strategy and is responsible for driving Rhythm of the Business, partnering with the Creative, Engineering, and Marketing teams to define strategy and business models for this rapidly changing category. If you have experience in the Consumer sector, particularly focused on Kids, Franchises, and defining emerging products, than we’ve got a role for you to grow and thrive in.


The Business Manager will serve as a strategic partner focused on:

- Defining and quantifying the opportunities for Kids Entertainment products

- Key point of contact with strategic external IP partners

- Partnering with the Product team to track & evaluate product design and progress

- Building and communicating the fiscal year strategy plan and programs

- Resource management


Core Responsibilities:

As a member of the team, you will be directly responsible for:

- Developing, in partnership with others, the long term business & ecosystem strategy for this category

- Maintaining and driving strategic partnerships with external IP partners and developers

- Maintaining high-level forecasting models in coordination with Marketing and the Product team.

- Providing analysis and recommendations for staffing needs in alignment with business demand and planning

- Partnering closely with Finance and Marketing

- Participating in Long Range Planning (LRP) and QBR processes

- Managing all outsourced work, including working with outside vendors and developers and creating and managing their contracts.


Key Skills and Competencies:

- Business modeling, and ROI analysis skills

- Solid understanding of Financial reporting and a P&L

- Strategic market analysis

- Strong partner management skills

- Strong project management skills (communication, issue tracking, change management, etc.)

- Excellent cross group collaboration

- Strong passion for a holistically successful product- both as a revenue generator, customer delighter, and strategic innovation


Qualifications:

- Deep experience as a business / financial analyst

- Experience in the consumer and entertainment space

- Demonstrated ability to manage several concurrent, large projects involving multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment

- Proven ability to articulate a project’s vision and benefits, providing a solid rationale to multiple partners

- Ability to problem solve by gathering/analyzing information and using it to develop solutions to difficult problems

- Ability to adjust priorities, decisions, and actions to respond to multiple demands and new information

- Understanding of business and game development lifecycles

- College degree required, (MBA preferred)

- 8+ years relevant experience
