The Central Services Manager is responsible for providing strategic and tactical management across a multitude of central services that function to support our development goals. You will provide leadership, management and oversight to our Central Services Department (QA, Audio, IT, Administrative & Facilities). You must be adept at communicating across a wide range of personalities and disciplines, and have the ability to take high level corporate needs and disseminate those to the corresponding individuals and teams as required. Key business partners include: Studio Directors, Executive Producers, General Managers, Technical Directors, Director of Business Strategy, HR, and Finance.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


- Overseeing facilities, including, but not limited to, space planning, upgrading of meeting rooms or work spaces, and repairs as necessary.

- Act as the main point of contact with Redmond (HQ) to ensure our Central Services are following established guidelines and protocols.

- Work with the Studio Director to ensure that the central services departments (QA, IT, Audio, Admin, Facilities) are properly resourced to accommodate production needs.

- Management and oversight of Central Services, including performance management, coaching and reviews.

- Determining success metrics for each function, and reporting commitments and status to Leadership teams as appropriate.

- Helping to foster an atmosphere of collaboration, transparency and teamwork across all Central Services to ensure the highest level of support to the production teams.


Required Experience/Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree required.

- 7+ years of experience, including 2-3+ years in a Senior Operational position within the digital media, film/animation, entertainment or video game industry.

- Prior experience in a development capacity is a huge asset.

- Working knowledge and deep interest in relevant industry sectors: consumer products, traditional media, entertainment, broadcasting, cable, film, television, sports, internet, digital media, and/or technology.

- Excellent written, verbal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Able to identify problems, cultivate solutions, and create/deliver presentations to senior management.

- Ability to work efficiently, under pressure and within tight deadlines.

- Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).

- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail.

- Prior experience navigating within a large organization.
