Co-op Server Side Programmer - Playfish

Position Overview
We are looking for talented co-ops to join our growing team in Montreal working on social games for new platforms. The Co-op Server-Side Programmer is responsible for developing the back-end components and features supporting the game. You will interact on a daily basis with the designers, artists, and client programmers to produce a tightly-integrated final product that is widely recognized for its visual appeal and the quality and depth of gameplay.
Qualifications
• Solid Java server-side (HTTP, TCP) development experience
• Strong understanding of RDBMS (MSSQL a plus)
• An interest in cloud computing and parallel processing
• Interest in low latency, big data solutions in SOA and SaaS space
• Experience with non-RDBMS data stores (i.e. Cassandra)
• Strong networking skills
• Experience with large/complex server systems for handling large amounts of data and traffic
