The successful candidate will be a key part of our global University Relations team which hires co-ops in four Canadian locations: Burnaby, Montreal, Kitchener and Edmonton. We strive to hire the best and brightest rockstar students and new graduates that will continue to keep EA at the top of the gaming industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Co-op Speaker Series; recruit and coordinate new speakers for weekly speaker series, attend & plan a thank-you event
• Co-op Social Events; plan 1 smaller social event & 1 large social event per month
•Update and Maintain UR Calendars
•Assist with New Hire Orientation & Onboarding
•Create New Hire Packages
•Facilitate co-op objective setting, mid-point & final evaluations
•Assist with scheduling prescreen interviews
•Participate in and contribute to meetings with the global UR team
•Create advertisements & new marking initiatives
•Assist with Campus Ambassador Program
•Assist with swag distribution
•Maintain & Update the global job description booklet
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate:
• Working towards a degree in Human Resources Management
•Has completed at least one work term/work experience within an HR environment
•Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Detail orientated, well organized!
•Can work independently as well as on a team
•Strong communication skills – passionate about working with people
•Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
•Enthusiasm & a positive attitude
•Sense of humour a must!
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
•Previous experience with candidate tracking software an asset
•Project management & event planning skills
