Contract Compositing Artist for Blue Chip Games Developer!
My client is a multi-award winning developer, best known for their hit racing series and is amongst the best game studios in the world with a world class team of game makers at its heart.
They provide a stable studio atmosphere and are backed by one of the world’s largest publishers and developer of video games. Located in Guildford town centre, within leafy Surrey, They are only a short 40 minute train journey from London and all its entertainment.
Role Overview:
They are looking for talented Compositing Artists to work on the world’s number one, multi award winning, arcade racing franchise. You’ll be part of a cinematic team based within their BAFTA award winning studio; with responsibility for bringing to life the visceral, brutal car action they are critically acclaimed, trusted and renowned for.
Responsibilities:
• Composite and grade dynamic action sequences, responsible for delivering stylish looks to our hi octane driving action
• Create motion graphic sequences to a high standard
Skills and Experience required:
• Good knowledge of current 3D software (Maya or Max)
• Compositing skills in After Effects/Nuke or Fusion
• VFX experience a definite bonus
• Editing experience a definite bonus (Premiere or Final Cut)
• Flexible, able to adapt, and open to an evolving brief, changing ideas and direction
• Follow direction as well as provide imaginative, creative solutions to problems
• Game development experience is a plus, but not a requirement
A competitive day rate is on offer for the successful candidate as well as the working environment of a well funded blue chip studio.
