Temporary Full-time (Contract)
EA SPORTS is looking for a Digital [Communications] Analyst to join the Digital Communications team. This individual will be based at EAC (Burnaby, BC), working closely with the Digital Communications Team at EAC and Tiburon on all sports titles including FIFA, Madden, NHL and SSX.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide monthly reports to the Communications Team and key marketing partners on overall franchise performance
• Provide weekly reports to Communications Team and key marketing partners on performance of campaigns and owned social channels
• Partner with digital communications manager to forecast, track, and optimize digital communications and creative to drive consumer acquisition and understand ROI
• Develop and analyze experiments to increase acquisition through multiple owned social channels and programs
• Perform strategic analysis using all available sources of information to support the decision making process and strategic direction of the communications department.
• Build and maintain models focused on understanding behavior of cross-franchise consumers for the EA Sports label
• Uncover trends and key insights to drive marketing/communications decisions
Skills and Competencies:
• 1-2 years of relevant hands on experience, preferably in gaming, banking, consulting or retail
• Good knowledge of Excel including macros, pivot tables, vlookups, charts and graphs
• Some knowledge of statistics and database software a plus
• Strong understanding of social media and digital channels facebook, twitter, etc.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
• Team player and self-starter with the ability to liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders, including IT Experience working with marketing metrics and programs
• B.A. or B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, and/or Engineering Sciences
• Passion for sports and gaming
