Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an exceptionally skilled texture artist for the World of Warcraft Dungeon Team. Candidates should have extensive experience working with painting tools to achieve painterly yet detailed computer-generated artwork. Traditional painting and drawing skills are highly recommended. Understanding of Color, design, and composition is also important. The candidate must be organized and creative, with the ability to solve problems efficiently.

- Minimum 2 years' in game development as a texture painter
- Expert knowledge of high-end software such as Photoshop and 3DS Max
- Full understanding of texture map properties in relation to their surface qualities
- Superior eye for light, shade, color, and detail in creating texture maps
- Excellent painting skills and in-depth understanding of color theory and application
- Ability to create high-quality stylized painted texture maps from scratch
- Excellent work ethic and self-motivation
- Previously shipped AAA PC or console titles in an equivalent type role
- Strong foundation in the traditional arts, including but not limited to figure drawing, industrial design, and illustration
- Knowledge and understanding of the Warcraft universe
- Modeling Experience in 3DS Max or Maya
