Experienced Gameplay Programmer - Working On Current Gen Games
My client was founded by a small troupe of veterans who, bolstered by their work together on a previous project, decided they could see a great way to make innovative, creative games for the ‘next generation’ of game consoles - all the while staying small and true to that ‘family’ vibe you only get when working in a small, talented team.
They are now looking for an Experienced Programmer to join their team.
This will be someone who has both experience and talent at programming in many areas of game development and at all levels. Everything from techy stuff through to more user-facing ‘gameplay’ coding.
To be considered for this role you will be expected to be self motivated and feel confident working in an environment where everyone is very ‘hands on’ and up for taking on any programming challenge.
Requirements:
•One Shipped product
•Platform Expert in C/C++ programming
•Confident, team player
•Self motivated
•A demo to showcase your skills and experience
•Strong maths skills
•Experience of PS3 programming and SPU programming a big plus
These are the kinds of things my client is looking for:
1.Being Damn good at what you do!
2.Want ownership and responsibility
3.Really love making & playing console games
4.Bursting with passion, enthusiasm and drive
5.An active rather than passive team player
6.Work well in a collaborative creative team
7.Are fun & spirited
As part of a small talented team of people you will get a tip top benefits package, including health and life insurance, a competitive salary, a winning bonus scheme, a personal development fund, being a name and not a number, organic fruit, really comfy chairs, and even the occasional hug.
A very competitve salary and benefits package offered to the right candidate.
