My client is one of the leading global suppliers for browser based online games: their portfolio of games has been translated into 42 different languages.

They have a motivated team of more than 200 skilled people using the latest technology, providing room for innovation and continuous improvement to make games that are pure gaming fun!

They are now looking to strengthen their team in Germany by recruiting an experienced Integration Engineer to be part of a team responsible for the quality and security of their tools and infrastructure applications.

The successful candidate will be working in an environment where several million players generate enormous amounts of data daily and where software systems must be stable and scalable.

Good knowledge and solid experience of:
Interfaces (most XML RPC been based)
Modern development methods (Scrum, Continuous integration)
Tools (Zend studio, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira ...),
Permanent Frameworks and industry standards.
Object-oriented development with PHP5
Large databases (RDBMS and also noSQL) to the use.
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Solid technical knowledge of Online Gaming
General technical knowledge with the focal point on web technologies.
Good understanding of PHP and SVN or Git
Relational databases via SQL data
UNIX, MySQL or Apache/Nginx under Linux, JAVA
Knowledge of QA processes and experience in the automation of functional test, for example with Selenium

Tasks will include:
Work with the game teams in the initial integration of tools and provide support during the entire life cycle of the game.
Communication with internal and external "customers" (in German and English).
Test plans for tool integrations.
Execution of removal tests and QA of the game integration alongside the "customer".
Resolve errors and problems and initiate procedures for this purpose.
Cooperation in the planning and coordination of new integration projects.
Create strong technical documentation.
