Experienced/Senior Engineer Required- Central London Location
Recognised as the global leading company for the progression of consumer-based computer entertainment our client has over 1100 employees in 11 countries and sales operations in another 91 countries.

My client is looking for a Senior Engineer who will work on high quality GUI application tools for PhyreEngine™. They will be involved in the design, implementation, maintenance, and supporting of those tools.

Requirements:
• Demonstrate a strong problem solving ability.
• Ability to work well both within a team and individually.
• Good attention to detail, keeping in mind time constraints, and available resources.
• Design, implement and evangelise re-usable code components while using good coding practices and techniques.
• Research and develop new concepts or improve existing methods for use in code components.
• Complement component design with high quality and consistent regression testing methods.
• Work proactively in identifying current and future requirements of tools.

Experience:
• University degree level or equivalent in mathematics, computer science, physics, electronic engineering or related subject.
• Demonstrate working an application architectural level, whilst remaining aware of low level efficiency.
• Comprehensive GUI application coding and design
• Comprehensive Microsoft.Net C# with Windows Forms
• C++/CLI experience
• Able to demonstrate specialised programming skills and a strong ability to manage their own work.
• Demonstrate experience of using design patterns
• Multithreaded GUI application experience

Beneficial Skills/Experience:

Animation engine.
Art tools / game editors.
Asset management.
Game engine / systems.
Advanced computer graphics programming experience, including shaders.
Some 3D graphics experience.
Work on one or more computer game titles.
