Experienced Technical Support Manager Required For German Developer (Games)
My client is one of the leading global suppliers for browser based online games: their portfolio of games has been translated into 42 different languages. They have a motivated team of more than 200 skilled people using the latest technology, providing room for innovation and continuous improvement to make games that are pure gaming fun!
They are now looking to strengthen their team in Germany by recruiting an Experienced Technical Support Manager.
Major responsibilities:
•Supervising games worldwide (deployment, defect analysis…)
•Supporting administrators in complex queries regarding technical and game related issues
•Analysis of problems and prioritisation of defects as well as developing solutions and documentation
•Locating errors on database and on live servers
•Planning of deployment cycles
•Defining requirements for tools and for new features
•Further development of processes and internal policies
•Consulting project leaders and product managers in developing features and tools
•Administrative supervision of ticket system
•Training new colleagues
•Quality assurance
Your qualifications:
•Profound experience and interest in browser games, MMO´s, social platforms
•Affinity towards the internet, customer and service orientation
•Self-dependent, structured, quality-conscious and independent way of working
•Team player and problem solver
•Very good analytical skills
•Profound understanding of SQL-/PHP-/JavaScript or other programming languages
•Understanding of server structures
•Experience in working with bug tracking-tools (e.g. Jira) and ticket systems (e.g. OTRS)
•Very good English language skills
•German language skills or the willingness to learn
