Position:  Flash Developer on web platform:

Ubisoft is looking for a Flash Developer with a high-level of ActionScript skills (AS3) to develop games and flash applications. The flash developer will work with the team to conceptualize, develop and build Flash applications that meet overall project goals. The candidate selected will be working in a small team, under a Project Lead, designing and implementing solutions.



Responsibilities:



• Will be responsible for the development of multiplayer Flash based games (AS3 in use) on a web platform
• Development of modules and features for online games that can support large user bases, based on an optimal architecture.
• Develop and integrate various features (graphics, animations, sounds,…) in Flash, work closely with artists and designers
• Strictly adhere to the coding standards while executing a coding task
• Correct defects discovered by QC or your customers in a timely fashion
• Complete your tasks based on the plan, requirements and schedule approved by the management
• Set up of the ergonomic interface with game designers to create a compelling website experience
• Provide a basic analysis and design a simple solution approved by your manager before coding
• Provide support to team members whenever required
• Take care of the games in development and also the games which are Up and Live according to the needs.




Personal profile:

• Familiar with web-based services development. E.g. Facebook, Twitter, Flicker, Youtube etc.
• Strong analytic skills
• Flexible in organizing the work as per the requirements

 Required skills:

• Ability to Build multi-player interactive and dynamic flash-based games and applications.
• Experience working with Actionscript 3.0, Flash CS3/CS4 is a must. Flex 3 knowledge is a plus.
• Web development technologies (JavaScript, XML, SQL, etc.) knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with PHP and/or .NET and their integration with Flash Development is a plus.
• Good sense of usability and flow in conjunction with scripting tweens and transitions.
• Previous game console development experience is really a plus.
