Frostbite Game Engine - Sr Software Engineer

The Frostbite team at the DICE studio is an independent unit with 30+ dedicated developers. We provide state of the art technology to game teams within EA from various genres such as shooting, racing and action. By collaboration - between disciplines, genres and studios - the Frostbite team is pushing boundaries for what game developers can achieve. With a strong focus on efficient workflows and fast iteration times our innovation–driving outcomes enable game developers to create cutting edge games.
The Frostbite team is looking for experienced developers who wants to work with our engine developers & game team customers to continue the development of our technology on all platforms. We believe in forming roles based on the individual to make sure people do what they do best. We currently have multiple openings in various areas of the team such as core systems, physics and destruction, rendering, and infrastructure.
We are looking for talented, self-motivated individuals with the capability and drive to build the premiere game engine for a multitude of platforms. We want creative, committed and communicative people who want to be part of developing the best platform for some of the industry’s most talented game teams. We believe a successful applicants have:
Worked on multiple AAA titles for PC and consoles (X360/PS3)
Have expert knowledge in at least one game engine related area
Have excellent C/C++ knowledge and are used to working on large projects & codebases
Used to profile code and optimize it for performance and memory
Self-driven with a strong sense of quality
Heavy focus on customers and willingness to find the best solution
Great communication skills that supports an open working environment in terms of feedback
