Role Overview: Global Media Sales Manager, West
EA is currently looking for a Sales Manager to work out of the EA Redwood City office and manage part of the West region media sales business, reporting up to the Midwest Sales Director. Ideal candidate will drive cross-platform media sales for all EA properties, including online, social, mobile, console & PC games… and a whole host of other media opportunities!
Candidate must have a consultative, client-centric sales philosophy, a deep understanding of entertainment as marketing vehicle, and the ability to sell everything from scale to custom media ideas and cross-platform programs.
Candidate Requirements:
• 5+ years experience selling online advertising and promotions.
• Very strong, senior level contacts (and successful working histories) with Fortune 500 clients and top ad agencies in the territory.
• Strong knowledge of the regional market and potential.
• Comfortable with selling promotions and integrated partnership programs beyond banner advertisements. Past online agency media planning/buying is a plus.
• Solid understanding of the video game and/or online publisher-side sales processes and digital advertising agency management and structure.
• Candidate must be detail-oriented, both written and verbally articulate, a self starter, possess high energy and solid presentation, creative and analytical skills.
• Candidate must present a can-do, competitive yet team-oriented attitude, as well as the drive to make EA the top media choice to reach a powerful and engaged audience.
• Ability to collaborate successfully with internal and external staff, communicating effectively at all levels.
• Up to 25% travel is required.
