My client is a long established English-speaking game development company set up by an exceptional group of passionate games industry professionals. They have a huge focus on enjoyable games with a huge emphasis on both quality and fun.
Based in a beautiful area of Germany they boast a team of professionals from all around the globe as well as partners that form the cornerstone of this great industry as we know it.
The company is consistently expanding and developing its structure to match. With these changes a certain number of positions are being created to strengthen the management team.
They are currently seeking an experienced Design Manager with a proven track record in the development of creative, high quality products to head up their growing game design activity. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Design will manage the design team on a daily basis to ensure that it works under the best possible conditions for achieving the vision of the game.
Skills/Experience Required:
- 3+ titles (character-based console titles) in a Lead Design position
-Broad knowledge of and passion for modern games and gaming platforms
-In-Depth knowledge of character-based games
-Solid theoretical background in game design
-Analytical and logical skills
-Documentation and communication skills
-Good knowledge of English language
-Presentation skills
