Human Resources plays a key role in ensuring that all EA staff members feel supported and that they have access to training, development, and other opportunities to take career and skills to the highest level.
Role Overview
Provide tactical and operational support to the Austin Site HR Manager and IT Business Group including:
• Approve New User requests and assist local Administrative Assistants on new hire set-ups.
• Assist in compiling, preparing, and/or analyzing HR presentations and reports for IT leadership.
• Manage monthly audits of stock program and ensure accuracy of data.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation and maintaining local employee HR files.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Fulfill ad hoc report requests as necessary and appropriate.
Provide Client Relationship Management & Employee Relations Support, including:
• Respond to and resolve line employee questions & issues around policy, programs and practices.
• Direct queries to internal partners (e.g., Benefits team) as appropriate.
• Assist with training employees on new HR tools (e.g., MyWorld, MyGamePlan and PTO tools)
What skills does EA look for??
• BA/BS required, preferably with a business / HR focus
• 3 years experience working in an HR Coordinator / Administrator capacity
• Excellent project management, problem solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Able to establish a high level of trust and credibility in the organization
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic Human Resources laws.
• Capacity to be flexible & collaborative, while staying focused to deliver results, even as the business and organization changes
• Ability to multi-task, be proactive and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to treat all information confidentially.
• Ability to discern priorities appropriately.
• Drive to learn, have fun and help EA win!
