Role Overview

The HR Coordinator role is an entry role in the EA HR organization and reports to the HR Director for the team that supports the Games Label development organizations at the Redwood Shores studio. The HR Coordinator is responsible for administrative day-to-day issues and support for broader HR programs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities


Provide tactical and operational HR support, including:

• Manage Monthly Equity Grant Approval (‘MEGA’) program for client groups including coordinating the spot stock program.
• Work with HR partners to coordinate internal transfers. This will include facilitating international relocations in partnership with the Global Mobility and Immigration Team.
• Process off-cycle promotions and compensation changes in partnership with HR, managers, and Finance partners.
• Run HRIS reports, analyze and reconcile people data. Monitor the accuracy of HR records and coordinate corrections as required.
• Approve New User requests and assist local Administrative Assistants on new hire set-ups.
• Assist in compiling, preparing, and/or analyzing HR presentations and reports for HR and business leadership.
• First point of contact for employee questions and issues re: HR programs, policy, and tools. Works to resolve issues directly, collaborate with internal partners on resolution of issues.
• Assist new employees with training on HR tools
• Provide administrative support to HRBPs and managers as related to on-boarding and exiting of employees.
• Partner with HRBPs on Focal and Performance Management programs (reporting, auditing, communications)
• Audit U.S. contractor utilization in the client group and guide management on adherence to contractor guidelines.
• Partner with Finance to communicate, track and reconcile headcount data for client groups.
• Fulfill ad hoc report requests and special assignments as necessary and appropriate.


What skills does EA look for??

• BA/BS required, preferably with a business / HR focus.
• 3-5 years experience working in an HR Coordinator / Administrator capacity.
• Excellent project management, problem solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Able to establish a high level of trust and credibility in the organization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic Human Resources laws such as EEOC guidelines, FLSA and ADA, and Title VII.
• Capacity to be flexible & collaborative, while staying focused to deliver results, even as the business and organization changes.
• Ability to multi-task, be proactive and work in a fast-paced environment.
