HR Specialist

Role Overview:

Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be accountable for delivering HR specialist duties predominately focusing on recruitment and generalist HR support for our busy Melbourne studio, Sydney and South Africa and NZ offices.

Ideally coming from a dynamic environment, you will bring a proactive, flexible and can do attitude along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage end to end recruitment process, this will involve managing the recruitment life cycle, Maintain internal recruiting system, taking job specifications from Hiring Managers, designing interview templates, writing ads, conducting phone/in person interviews, advising hiring managers on best recruitment practices, building & managing talent pipelines, reference checking, coordinate all interviews with key stakeholders, develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies across the region, offer negotiation and fill positions in a timely manner
• Providing recruitment and first level HR advice and support to the business within policy guidelines
• Developing strategic and unique sourcing initiatives
• Partnering with the business to deliver proactive resourcing solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage the on boarding for all successful candidates
• Work with Compensation and Benefits team on relocations
• Provide generalist and administrative support to the HR Manager as required.

Technical skills and experience:

• 2-3 years previous HR support experience – with an interest in recruitment will be highly regarded
• You will have experience managing an end-to-end recruitment process, internally or within an agency environment with strong administrative experience within a fast paced environment
• Tertiary qualification in HR/Business
• Have a professional approach and a passion for recruitment, Games and people
• Have excellent organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Self motivator with the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent time management and coordination work
• Strong team work ethics
• Knowledge of recruitment systems advantageous
• Strong MS Office Suite skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information is critical
• Ability to multi-task, and to thrive in a team atmosphere and work effectively with all levels of management
• Must be customer centric, and outcomes orientated
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A sound knowledge of employment processes and legislative requirements
