EU HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Responsibilities:

Human Resources

•Development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in conjunction with European and Irish Employment Legislation
•Proactively provide the tools, knowledge and assistance which will facilitate excellent people management within the company.
•Manage employee relations to ensure a healthy work environment while engaging the clients culture, empowering employees, encouraging open communication and sharing to achieve their main goal - making high-quality, fun-to-play games that the players love
•Ownership of recruiting of new hires, establishing hiring processes and conducting interviews with departmental managers and US colleagues
•Experience and innovation in attracting talent, to include networking, referrals, headhunting
•Employment contract management
•Handling of sensitive HR documentation with discretion
•Direct Performance Review Management Process with departmental managers
•Manage and maintain the benefits and perks the company provides
•Maintaining current and up to date records on all Employee Holidays, Sick Days etc.
•Interact with other departmental managers on HR related issues
•Dealing with any HR issues as they arise

Payroll
•Administration of the monthly payroll process
•Entry and maintenance of employee information into payroll system, Micropay Pro, and full ownership of integrity and accuracy of employee data
•Ensuring that the company is compliant with relevant legislation
•Create monthly payroll reports for financial reporting, ensuring data integrity with all reporting
•Process employee expense reports, maintain and file expense report records
•First point of contact for advice and guidance on Payroll related matters to managers and employees as required

Requirements:

•CIPD qualified
•Degree in a Business or HR related field required
•Experience in a HR Management role
•Experience in SAGE Micropay or similar payroll software
•Strong work ethic, a team player who can function in a fast-paced work environment with immediate and changing deadlines
•Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
•Have the ability to take initiative and act independently
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
•Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
•Excellent time management and follow-up skills
•Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with managers and employees at all levels within our company
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
•Outgoing and proactive personality. A great personality is as important as any other skill for this role!

Preferred:

•Fluent in English, Additional foreign language is a plus
•Interest in video game industry is a plus!
