Japanese > Spanish Translator

Company unspecified (job is advertised through an agency)
London
£ Excellent

Pokémon is a media franchise owned by the video games company Nintendo and created by Satoshi Tajiri around 1995.

Originally released as a pair of inter-linkable Game Boy role-playing video games, Pokémon has since become the second most successful and lucrative video game-based media franchise in the world, behind only Nintendo's own Mario series.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen as Pokémon now seek a Japanese > Spanish translator. They're looking for a native speaker of Spanish, who can translate from Japanese into his/her native language.

The ideal candidate will be very flexible and available to work at the London studio. The contract is short term (appox. 3-4months).

He/she will need to be able to be precise, pay attention to details, comply with the glossary, be flexible enough to adjust to a sudden change of the schedule or unpredictable additional tasks.

Experience:

  • Experience as a professional translator for two years or more is essential.
* Experience in computer game translation will be an advantage.
  • General PC skills, especially in Excel and Word.

If you want the chance to work in a fantastic industry for a massively successful company this could be the opportunity for you. Please send CV’s to George at georgina@aswift.com
