Our client is currently looking for a Senior Programmer. The Programmer will work on many aspects of console development using existing sub-systems such as networking, rendering, physics and front-end user interface.
Skill Requirement/ Responsibilities:
- Must have worked on at least one published title
- Very strong C++ with exposure to Design Patterns, STL with solid engineering techniques
- Experience with console development specifically in the area of rendering and asset pipelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to give and receive constructive feedback
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and/or the resourcefulness to obtain solutions
- Remain ‘up-to-date’ on all aspects of cutting edge programming as it relates to the video game industry
- Willing to learn and be open to new ideas. The candidate must be adaptable and be able to pick up new skills quickly
- Video game experience - playing games as well as programming games.
