Technical Artist

Role:

  • Detailed knowledge of at least one industry-standard art package.
  • Use of scripting languages such as MEL (Maya).
  • Understanding of the limitations of console hardware.
  • Must be able to show technical proficiency in areas such as lighting, rendering, texturing, shaders & graphic related languages.
  • Ability to customize related software for streamlining to suit project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience working on a wide range of projects both in terms of art tools & game hardware.
  • Specialization in a particular area of art production.
  • Understanding & proficiency using 3D graphics software.
  • Between 2 to 5 years experience.
  • Ability to think creatively to resolve technical challenges & limitations.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills.
Knowledge of console hardware architecture.
