     Contract Programmers to work for a leading Gaming company:

Main duties and responsibilities:

Design Code
• Working from specifications and requirements provided by Lead Programmer, develop a planned timescale and detailed code design to be agreed and signed off by Lead Programmer.

Development and Testing of Code
• Develop code to the agreed timescale and specification/operation.
• Notify Lead Programmer as soon as possible of any changes arising in agreed specification and schedule.
• Ensure all code is produced in line with the projects agreed coding standards.
• Report progress to Lead Programmer and inform them of any implementation issues promptly.
• Test all code against specification to ensure it performs as required.
• Fix any bugs identified in owned code, either through own testing or by QA.

Documentation
Ensure all code is documented in line with relevant procedures as the development progresses.

Qualifications/Training:
• Educated to good level (or equivalent experience) in computing/programming.
• Good standard of English (written and spoken)
• Qualifications in Software Development or Programming.

Experience:
• Minimum of 2 year relevant development experience in production Online systems.
• Relational Database Design
• Web Technologies
• Documentation experience
• Program Design and testing
• Online games systems experience
• Leaderboard / statistics systems
• Social networking portal & component design/coding

• C# (2.0+, ideally 3.5)
