We are managing all of Sony Computer Entertainment's games recruitment and the London office is a world class development studio. It has unrivalled development facilities and offers a creative and stimulating environment coupled with access to the best London has to offer from their Soho office.
They need a Programmer to design and implement software based on existing computer vision algorithms and help game teams integrate them. The candidate will need to understand the output from the vision algorithms, and create interfaces that are flexible and game friendly. They will create sample game mechanics to illustrate how the algorithms should be used. The ability to communicate with game designers and programmers as well as with computer vision researchers is essential. They should also be able to think of creative new ways to use the algorithms to spark new avenues of investigation.
Requirements:
- A degree in a technical subject (e.g. computer science/ maths/physics)
- Good knowledge of the C++ programming language.
- 2+ years of commercial programming experience.
- Experience of image processing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of programming game mechanics and input mechanisms.
