My client was established in 2004 and is based in Liverpool, they are currently working on a number of exciting prototypes for Nintendo platforms and are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Artist to drive the creative vision of their games.
As a Senior Artist you will be responsible for mentoring a small team of artists on an upcoming titles. In this role you will report to the Art Director and your primary responsibilities will be to manage the team creatively and technically. You will also work closely with the programming team and designers in creating and preparing all art assets, correctly to spec.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience with content creation for games
- Have some experience of leading a team (even a smaller one)
- Extensive knowledge of 3DS Max and Photoshop. Knowledge of Illustrator is preferable.
- Have an interest in all types of art and graphic design
- The ability to work in different styles
- Team player
- Well organized
- Independent pro-active work attitude
