The role itself is within the department’s Support team. This team is responsible for making the small day-to-day changes to any applications produced by the Liverpool Development team. As a member of the Support team you will gain an extensive overview of many applications used by Sony Computer Entertainment.

Please Note: This is not a Games Development Role.

Technical Environment

• ColdFusion 9, Oracle 11g, Unix

Programming Languages Used

• CFML, HTML, Javascript, CSS, PL/SQL, SQL

Specific Duties

• Code Application modules to required Specifications, following Department Standards

• Test Application modules and produce test documentation

• Assist with the Analysis and Design of Application modules and with general day-to-day support activities

Requirements

• University Educated

• Practical experience of writing programs

• Knowledge of Relational Databases and Internet/Intranet Development

• Any knowledge of the Programming languages detailed above will be advantageous, but not essential as training will be given

• Ability to work as part of a team or individually

• Ability to follow Department and Company Standards

• Sociable and friendly

• High standard of written and verbal communication

• Great attention to detail
