Junior Software Engineer - Games Developer - 12 month contract
My esteemed client holds a global reputation as one of the biggest Games developers/publishers in the industry and is amongst the best game studios in the world with a world class team of game makers at its heart.
Working on top quality game content for a AAA Title producing studio, this role is one that could change your career!
Most recently, they were responsible for a very highly-rated game on Metacritic, indeed their average rating on Metacritic is an incredible 87%. Their franchise sales topped 100 million copies.
To be a part of this talented team you need to be passionate about games and committed to being the best in the world at what you do. You need to know what matters to the people who play the games and be passionate about surpassing their and our, expectations.
The successful candidate, mentored by a senior engineer, will be working with creative people to establish technical requirements for features of a world-class video game. They will then be responsible for developing, testing and iterating those features to final quality.
Required:
Successful candidates will have a good degree (or equivalent) in computer science, maths or another related subject as well as good A-Level and GCSE grades in Maths and/or physics.
They are looking for an all round junior programmer with experience in:
- C++
- C#
- Direct 3D / Open GL
- Windows Presentation Foundation / Windows Forms
- LAMP / Sockets / Networking
- Javascript / Ajax / Flash
