Have the opportunity to work for a multi award winning aircraft Navigation Company.As they are now looking for a Mobile Applications Developer to join them.

The successful candidate will be primarily working on the development of moving map GPS and flight planning software within the aerospace industry. As a member of a small team you will be focused on porting their existing Windows CE codebase to Mono for Android and working thereafter on Android. You will also be maintaining their existing desktop and device codebase as well as ancillary web services.

Essential

At least two years experience of commercial C# development.
Excellent knowledge of OOP including interfaces, inheritance, abstract classes and generics.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work on their own, as well as a member of the team.
At minimum basic SQL knowledge

Desirable

Source control (Git)
ASP.NET
Design patterns (such as MVC)
OpenGL/Graphics Unit Testing
Mono for Android (iOS also useful)
Experience with developing for Android
C/C++ knowledge
Code optimisation
