Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios, creator of the highly-acclaimed Forza Motorsport franchise, is looking for a talented and passionate online/network developer to help architect and build the next wave of multiplayer experiences. If you have the experience and skill, you can join the team that’s delivered 90+ Metacritic-ranking games in every release since franchise inception, and help us continue building depth and innovation into the online experience.
Skills and Qualifications of a successful Senior Network Developer candidate:
- 5+ years of game network development experience
- 5+ years of professional C++ development experience
- Strong design, debugging, and optimization skills
- Extensive sockets and protocol knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to work in a strongly collaborative development team
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent strongly preferred
Advantages:
- Current console development experience through full product release cycle.
- Large-scale game/application experience (MMO, P2P distribution systems), preferably at the protocol level.
- Experience in low-latency gaming and/or large-scale network sessions.
- Expertise in SQL and/or IIS webservices
- Experience with Scrum, agile development
