Physics Programmer (Next Gen) – New York

Roll Overview:
Salary – $80,000 - $110,000

We are looking for an experienced and highly talented physics programmer to help breathe life, realism and fun into our next-generation game. This is an exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge physics and collision systems and use them in creative and novel ways, working together with other departments to solve physics, animation and AI problems. You will iterate toward the perfect blend of realism and fun gameplay and use your math skills to optimize, simplify and extend our engine.

Required Qualifications
• Prior experience authoring and extending physics systems for a shipped game title on current generation consoles
• Familiarity with existing physics packages
• Experience of low level optimisations and fixing stability issues.
• Outstanding math skills (linear algebra, matrix/quaternion math)
• Fluency in C/C++
• Strong multi-threaded programming skills
• Passion for playing and making games

Desired Qualifications
• Physics/mathematics/computer science degree
• Assembly and SIMD programming
