Summary
Reporting to the Director of IT Strategic Projects & IT Strategy, the PMO Specialist will be responsible for executing multiple strategic, enterprise-wide information systems implementations. This is a fast pace role that will require significant experience in project management in an IT setting.
 
 
Duties
  • Work with IT and business leaders on planning and executing multiple large scale IT systems implementations concurrently
  • Meet with business counterparts to develop and execute on project scope and objectives; provide updates and navigate through changing business priorities effectively
  • Work with IT on project implementations that affect their area of coverage
  • Maintain and execute routine Program Management Office duties as it relates to the IT quarterly release process
  • Implement PMO practices across IT and help functional IT employees use implementation tools and resources for project completion
  • Work with offshore and vendor contacts to execute on project requirements
  • Provide reporting on project budgets and implementation statuses
 
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related filed; or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Significant experience in multiple large scale IT systems implementations working in a professional individual capacity with a high degree of project oversight and budget responsibility
  • Solid experience in working with business leaders on project implementations; ability to present and communicate to senior management with confidence and poise
  • Knowledge of IT solutions such as ERPs and Corporate business applications
  • Must possess broad IT and project implementation knowledge that can be utilized across multiple functions and areas of the business
  • Must have experience in working with third party vendors and off shore resources
  • Must have expert experience working in a Program/Project management (PMO) capacity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across the IT department is a must
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills that can provide timely solutions on the fly
