PR Manager / Director Eastern Europe - GAMES
PR Manager to be based in Germany
We are seeking a PR Manager / Director to join our client; this is an exciting opportunity for someone local or perhaps someone seeking to relocate to Germany.
My Client an award winning developer and publisher behind an exciting portfolio of MMO strategy games is now looking for an experienced and creative PR Manager to join their team. The company brings together the best in the field of modern information and multimedia technologies. My client’s goal is to eventually become the leading developer of high-quality military strategy games.
You will have a very good understanding of the Internet and technologies used in the games industry and a wide network of contacts in the gaming media / Internet media. You will be proficient in the use of all the social media tools like Facebook and Twitter and have a very good understanding of online games.
Role Responsibilities:
•Active maintenance and expansion of the media contacts from the online, print, TV and radio.
•Production of promotional concepts for the games developed by my client and for all franchises and the games portal.
•Writing press releases and answering questions from international media.
•Conception / organisation and management of PR events and press trips.
•Coordination of communication activities with the Producers, brand managers, marketing, community management, and international PR agencies.
•Award management for all international game awards.
•You have a university degree and / or a comparable education in public relations.
•Proven work experience ideally in an international company or PR agency.
•You will have excellent communication skills
•Be fluent in German & English (spoken & written).
