Award winning Games Company in Germany are seeking an experienced PR Manager for English Language Markets
Are you familiar with computer games, know what gamers want and already have experience in the media industry or in PR? Then we can offer you an exciting and challenging position as a PR Manager UK.
You will undertake ambitious game projects and be relied upon to conduct our campaigns for the English-speaking market in Europe. You will liaise with our media partners and help promote our titles with persistence, commitment, creative approaches, a self-dependent method of operation and strong communication skills.
With this position you can expect an exciting job in the computer game industry with many interesting insights into the whole lifecycle of our MMO projects and a friendly working environment with individual development potential.
Overview of Responsibilities:
• Conception, planning and implementation of PR campaigns for promising MMORPG projects
• Development and consistent implementation of promising ideas, approaches and projects
• Positioning and placement of our titles in the media
• Intensive contact with all relevant special and general interest media
• Development and distribution of regular press releases
• Development of press information such as product sheets and press folders
• Product presentations, press tours and events
• Monitoring of documentation and reporting to our media presence
• Negotiation of exclusive agreements and media co-operations
Your Profile:
• University degree with a focus on marketing, communications, media or related fields
• English native speaker
• Good text competence or editorial experience
• Experience in computer games, knowledge of the Online Games scene
• High internet affinity
• Experience in the media industry, knowledge of and good contacts with the computer-games relevant media landscape in the English speaking markets
• Commitment, flexibility, organization skills, strong communication skills
• Comprehension and verbal skills in German and additional language skills are advantageous
• Good knowledge of MS-Office as well as basic image editing, web editing systems or web design software
