Position Summary:
We’re looking for a marketing super star to join Pogo’s Publishing team to help drive the marketing of our games for Pogo.com This individual will need to have excellent project management and communication skills . The Product Marketing Manager, Publishing will work with the Pogo Marketing team to manage, maintain and produce online marketing campaigns and site content to drive sales and will report to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Publishing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage, maintain and deploy online internal promotional campaigns supporting download games and episodic content for Pogo.com
• Develop and execute go-to-market and promotional plans for the release of new Premium Content including episodic content and download games
• Collaborate with Game Enhancement team and regularly update and maintain all content/inventory to ensure proper reporting and monitoring of sales
• Work cross-functionally with creative services, email, community, web development, production and engineering teams to manage the execution of marketing programs in a deadline-driven environment
• Ad hoc projects as needed such as community events, sponsorships, etc…
Qualifications:
• A background minimum 3-5 years in online consumer or product marketing, preferably within a consumer goods/retail company; e-commerce or e-tail experience preferred
• Strong business acumen with emphasis on marketing/marketing management
• Excellent project management skills in establishing priorities, deadlines, and schedules
• Creativity and strong problem solving skills
• Proficiency with computers and office software applications, and spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to successfully work in a collaborative working environment.
• Experience with website analytics (i.e. Omniture) or database marketing a plus
• Familiarity with social games and download games desired but not requried
