Microsoft’s Good Science Studio is at the forefront of developing new interactive entertainment experiences that appeal to all members of the family across all devices, led from the living room, powered by the cloud.


Help us to deliver on this vision - we are looking for an experienced and driven individual who can help us build and deploy the cloud services needed for our next-generation entertainment experiences. This role will be responsible for the creation of new technology as well as delivering a service infrastructure, platform and tools that can be used to deliver multiple entertainment products from high profile IP partners in an efficient and scalable way. The Senior Services PM will be responsible for working with business and technical partners, understanding & documenting requirements, create functional specifications, prioritizing work items & scope, planning for delivering the project in a timely manner with available resources, managing the project till successful delivery, and assisting in post-deployment activities including issue resolution.

A deep background in all aspects of software engineering and the development lifecycle with strong skills in the areas of cloud computing, online services, enterprise applications development, engineering and/or operations at scale.

Experience in data processing platform design, application infrastructure design and development, data processing, and parallel architecture are required, as well as familiarity with datacenter technologies for deployment, monitoring, provisioning, designing for elastic capacity, etc.

Success in this position will require a broad set of experiences and skills, ranging from excellence in core engineering, business/financial and data analysis, ability to deeply engage with customers/partners, and building a collaborative working relationship with development, test, product planning, and partner organizations.

Ability to drive large, complex programs and solutions using both direct and virtual teams.

5+ years of project management skills and the ability to plan a multi-release product roadmap and manage multiple projects.

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, written communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment are very important. Comfort discussing complex issues with senior and executive management teams.

A balance of technical, business, and data analytics background, exceptional problem solving skills, and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in designing, building and deploying services.

Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
