RUSSIA- COUNTRY MANAGER
Exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Country Manager (Russia) to work with one of the most popular PC games today, our clients game is reshaping PC gaming and core gamers perception of virtual goods. Our client (named a Top 30 developer by Game Developer Magazine), the publisher and developer a very popular MMO, is experiencing a period of rapid growth, doubling the size of the company in the past year. With several million players in their first game across the Europe and the US, and numerous awards, our client has pioneered new ground with their debut title and is continuing to aggressively expand.
They plans to service the popular MMO to Russian and CIS users and is looking for a smart, passionate, business minded Country Manager for their Dublin Office. The Country Manager would be responsible of developing our business in Russia, hire and lead the Russian team and manage financial and physical resources.
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary: Completely negotiable for the right candidate and exceptional benefits
Responsibilities:
•Hire and Lead Russian teams including but not limited to: marketing & PR, community, player support
•Own and manage Russian Budget and P&L;
•Build and maintain good relationship with local stakeholders. Develop reputation of our client in Russia
•Develop player acquisition, retention and monetization
•Implement strong communication channels and processes between the Russia team, the local European Team and Headquarters
•Leverage both Europe and Headquarters to generate performance
Requirements:
•5+ years of relevant previous working experience
•Excellent communication skills
•Demonstrated both leadership and management skills within matrixes organizations
•Demonstrated Budget and P&L; management skills
•Goal oriented and business minded personality
•Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic and young environment with significant responsibility
•Must have experience working in international context
•Deep understanding of online video market industry. Previous experience within game developer or publisher is required
•Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus
•Availability to frequent travels
•Must be a gamer
