Senior 3D Artist Required for German Based Developer
My client is an independent and privately-owned game development studio located in a beautiful town in Germany. Founded in 2004, they are committed to make only AAA titles.
You will be based in a location that is second to none, located in the heart of Europe: Stuttgart, Strasbourg, Freiburg, and Zurich are reachable within 50 Minutes.
They are now seeking a Senior 3D Artist to visualize and create high quality models for characters, weapons, and hero assets for the environment. He/She will also assist the Art Lead in maintaining the established art style of the project and meet the aesthetic and technical requirements of the studio.
The position requires an artist who can demonstrate excellent visual design skills and also versatility in all fields of 3D asset creation.
Position Responsibilities
•Undertake research, produce mood boards and collaborate in the conceptual development of assets
•Creation of high quality, efficient in game assets utilizing high and low poly modeling techniques
•Development of high quality in game material shaders
•Follow & maintain technical guidelines, data package structure, and customization rules
•Support other areas of art production where required, assist in level production, lighting etc
•Assist art lead with task planning and maintaining pipelines
•Produce documentation as and when required to assist and improve production
Position Requirements
•Extensive industry experience and a recognized qualification in art or related field
•Ability to translate concept artwork or reference images into 3D game assets efficiently and within game engine specifications
•Familiarity with high resolution modeling, next generation shader and texture creation techniques and a high capacity to learn new tools
Technical Requirements
•Strong proficiency with main art pipeline tools, Maya, Z-Brush, Adobe Photoshop, and 3DS Max
•Good proficiency with Unreal Editor 3 toolset
Soft-Skill Requirements
•Ability to work with minimum supervision
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Excellent Initiative and proactive attitude
•Ability to rapidly adjust to changes
•Excellent time management skills
•Excellent organizational skills Next Gen experience
•Good knowledge of Human anatomy
•Good drawing and rendering skills
