Senior 3D Character Animaor
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an exceptionally skilled senior 3D character animator for a team focused on next-generation massively multiplayer online games. The ideal candidate has experience animating both human and non-humanoid characters. A solid grasp of the principles of body movement, anticipation, overshoot, follow-through, squash and stretch, forward/inverse kinematics, and other facets of both 2D and 3D animation is essential. The 3D character animator must be well-versed in Maya and related tools.
The ideal candidate would be able to foster a creative and energetic environment for a group of peers who are passionate about making great games. He or she would help members of the animation team to grow artistically through mentorship, and would help maintain a high level of visual and technical quality for all animation assets.
Requirements

A minimum of 4 years' experience in game development using Maya or an equivalent 3D programExceptional skills in animating the human bipedal figure, as well as other organic forms

Experience working with an animation team to develop a cohesive and compelling vision

Proven problem-solving/prototyping ability; ability to work with designers and engineers to develop animation systems

A thorough understanding of animation pipelines and the processes involved from the conceptual phase to implementation

Self-motivation, good communications skills, and a great team-player attitudeA passion for video games
Pluses

Have shipped AAA PC or console titles as a character animator

Skills in one or more of the related character creation tasks -- illustration, modeling, texturing, or rigging
