This studio is looking for experienced animators to join their team working on a next-gen IP. This is a great opportunity to enter a very exciting project at an early stage and really help set the style and pipeline.

As an animator you will work in a team to create stunning and life like animations for our ambitious next-gen project. We are aiming at the highest possible quality, so the animation team has the support from both technical animators and tech/tools programmers. Our goal is to set a new industry benchmark in RPGs. You will be working mostly in motion builder and our in house tool to breathe life into characters and creatures in the game world. The team that you will be working with is a very motivated and experienced team.
Responsibilities:
Our experienced animators are expected to:
• Work with both key frame an motion capture animation
• Collaborate with designers and programmers to create expressive movement
• Take part in motion capture shoots, when needed
• Continuously push the quality of the games animations to the highest level
• Interact with artists and leads to communicate any risks relating to animation
• Mentor Junior animators and elevate their skills

You are a passionate gamer and an even more passionate animator. You are open to new ideas and you constantly strive to push your work to the highest possible level. Good enough is not in your vocabulary; excellent is your lowest acceptable standard. You are a passionate gamer and you have spent allot of time playing benchmark titles on both PC and Consoles. As an animator you are equally comfortable working with motion capture as key frame animation. You are actively looking for the best solution to the task at hand. Experience of multi platform development is meriting.
Requirements:
• A passion for video games
• Worked in the games industry for 3 or more years, with at least one AAA title shipped
• Great skills in animating the human bipedal figure, as well as other organic and mechanic forms
• Experienced in MotionBuilder, Maya or other equivalent 3D program
• Thorough understanding of the wider game development process
• Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical abilities
• Experienced with motion capture
• Self motivated and a great team player
• You are expected to relocate to Malmö, Sweden
Additional Bonus skills:
• Knowledge in rigging
• 2D Animation experience
• Stop motion experience
