Wal-Mart Account Team

Role Overview;

The Wal-Mart Account team is on a journey to become a world-class provider of interactive entertainment products to our retail partner and is focused on the following four priorities:
- Creating a multi-functional team approach that touches our retailer at every decision point
- Create demand at retail through innovative marketing programs both inside and outside the retailer’s store.
- Influence initiatives that create a compelling consumer shopping experience with both families and core gamers.
- Build relationships throughout all management levels of our retail partners by providing world-class support and execution of retail programs.

This position is a field based role located in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is an important role within a multi-functional team that includes Sales, Category Management, and Analytics. This person will be charged with creating 360 degree marketing programs that focus on our brands and franchises with results measured in revenue generation for our overall portfolio. This person will create, from scratch, marketing opportunities that integrate shopper insights, retailer initiatives and our own Label (brand) initiatives. Communication will be critical as this person will be responsible for building relationships with Buyers, Directors and Vice-Presidents both within EA and our retail partner.


Position Purpose:
This EA Customer Marketing Manager will have a shared responsibility for achieving all EA sell-in and sell-thru objectives through the development of account specific marketing plans and strategies. This person must have good presentation and relationship building skills. This manager will be asked to align our retail partner initiatives with each Label initiative to create consumer demand at the retail level.

- Responsibilities will include:

-Creating, planning, coordinating, implementing and continuously improving all EA retail marketing programs

- Planning, communicating, and executing event style marketing activities that build brand equity for both EA and Wal-Mart.

- Manage and maximize a multi-million dollar marketing budget while gaining financial collaboration from both labels and Wal-Mart marketing and merchandising teams.

- Provide key consumer insights that lead to unique marketing activities that drive demand

- Champion new marketing programs to Wal-Mart executive management that drive visibility, space allotment, and ultimate sell through for all of EA properties.

- Work closely with full Wal-Mart multi-functional team to collaboratively achieve objectives.


Professional Qualifications:
- 4 year degree with 3-5 years working in Sales, Retail Marketing, Customer Marketing, or Promotions.
- Proven ability to lead, own and drive programs/processes for complex clients
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills along with a high level of energy, initiative and enthusiasm.
- Accustomed to working in a rapidly-changing, high growth environment
-Able to provide leadership engendering drive and team cooperation
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing high-level business plans
- Ability to understand and manage multi-million dollar budgets
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
