The Investor Relations team integrates finance, communication, marketing and securities law compliance to facilitate two-way communication between EA and its shareholders. IR's mission is to increase shareholder value by developing strong relationships with and providing world-class financial metric, transparency and communication to shareholders and management.

Role Overview
Play an integral role in managing the investment community’s overall perception of EA in an effort to efficiently create and drive shareholder value. Internally, serve as a key resource for the executive team to conduct research on key industry or company specific issues/trends to help support and improve our messaging for our shareholders.

The Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations, act as an advisor to the IR Coordinator, and serve as a strong business partner and resource for a number of departments internal to EA.

Key responsibilities
External Communication
 Develop and maintain strong relationships with analysts and investors by proactively calling and meeting to articulate EAs investment thesis, financial performance, and long-term strategy.
 Speak on behalf of the company at presentations and during institution/individual meetings.
 Create investor presentations for the CEO and CFO for use on roadshows, brokerage conferences, and tradeshows.
 Help lead investor tour of EAs exhibit at E3; represent EA in effectively promoting our products and positioning within the industry.
 Prepare internal presentations for EA business units to help drive better understanding of the issues impacting EAs value and how, as a company, they can help impact EAs shareholder value.
 Partner with Corporate Communication to assure consistency of messaging with the press and investment community.

Internal Communication
 Advise management about issues that may impact EAs stock performance—competitive strategies, industry trends, and/or shareholder concerns.
 Collaborate with Communication department in creating the company’s internal messages.

Research: Market Data, Competitive Research, and Ad Hoc
 Maintain and communicate competitive intelligence and analysis on all industry peers to senior management.
 Improve analysis that provides periodic reports about the company’s stock price, relative stock price, brokerage analysts’ estimates and perceptions, and overall stock market conditions.
 Execute on ad hoc research requests from executive teams, in addition to proactively conduct other research on industry trends by partnering with Finance, Corporate Development, and other business partners.
 Prepare market, competitive and ad hoc analysis for earnings call, conference decks, etc.
 Maintain wall street consensus model

Earnings Reporting
 Manage the quarterly earnings book and process by partnering with Finance and Corporate Development to create key reports and analysis to for the executive team
 Drive improvement in the earnings process by partnering with Finance, accounting, and other business partners.
 Help develop and write earnings and other conference call materials, which include press releases, earnings scripts, and backup materials. Partner with Finance, legal, and accounting in preparing 10-Ks, 10-Qs, annual reports, proxy reports, and other SEC filings.
 Help conduct Q&A; sessions with management to help prepare the executive team on potential investor, analyst, and/or shareholder questions, issues or concerns.

IR Strategies & Tactics
 Collaborate in developing and implementing the global investor relations program, including strategy, operating plan, and budget.
 Take ownership/partner on some key deliverables in roadmap
 Develop and implement a targeted shareholder strategy to establish a long-term investor base.
 Work with executive team to articulate EAs investment thesis, merits, strategy, and milestones to external analysts and investors.
 Manage company’s participation in investment conferences including preparation of external presentations and designation of 1-1 meetings.
 Participate in the preparation and management of analyst targeted events, including Analyst day, bus tours, etc.


What skills does EA Look For?

Technical skills and experience
 Bachelors degree in business, finance.
 5-7 years experience in equity research, investment banking, or investor relations covering a technology related field; a strong preference for interactive entertainment experience.
 Strong understanding of finance, asset management, capital markets, and securities regulation.
 Strong understanding of the video game sector and a passion for playing games
 Experience in developing, managing, and communicating with investors and analysts.
