Our client is a UK leading independent Online Games Studio, who is looking for an exceptional Senior Product Marketing Manager to define the global marketing strategy for its massively multiplayer online strategy game, creating and implementing campaigns to maximise the market exposure and revenue of this highly successful product.
Operating as part of the busy Marketing department, the successful candidate will support the Executive Team in the organisation of international marketing campaigns to drive growth and profitability.
Through careful, in depth analysis of player and Industry trends, the Product Manager will make recommendations to the Executive team on the development and growth strategies of this recently released product.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
•Assist the Executive team in the direction and prioritisation of assigned franchise(s)
•Define the market position of the game product through in depth analysis of the marketplace and competitors
•Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy for assigned franchise(s)
•Develops deep understanding of players and competitive landscape through continual analysis of user behaviours and market research
•Work closely with developers, games designers and community managers to constantly improve the players experience
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
•Extensive experience in the marketing and brand management of consumer facing products
•An understanding of the games industry and its consumers
•Experience of planning and developing customer acquisition and retention programmes
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to pitch and present to internal and external stakeholders
•Strong relationship building and influencing skills
•Proven experience of Product Management
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
•Knowledge for games, with a background in preferably in the online field
•Understanding of micro-transaction and subscription based business models
Salary
